For over 15 years practicing at Bath & Edmonds, Tricia has focused exclusively on criminal defense. As a former prosecutor, Tricia has an intimate understanding of criminal procedure and the rights of the criminal defendant. A gifted writer, Tricia puts this understanding to work in her motion and appellate practice.

Tricia represents clients at all levels of criminal charging, from Municipal Court offenses to serious State and Federal allegations. Tricia’s Municipal Court practice includes defense of DUI and other alcohol-related offenses as well as battery, theft, marijuana possession and minor traffic offenses.

In State Court, Tricia defends both adults and juveniles in misdemeanor and felony matters involving: drugs and alcohol, property crimes, physical and sexual assaults and murder, including death penalty cases.

Tricia’s Federal work includes defending bank robbery, narcotics distribution, tax fraud, bank fraud, antitrust violations, aggravated identity theft, and illegal re-entry by a deported alien.

Tricia has been recognized by her peers as one of the top young attorneys in Kansas and Missouri, having been named a Rising Star by Superlawyers magazine.
