Effective July 1, 2018, Mitch Biebighauser has accepted a position at the Federal Public Defenders’ office in Wichita. Since Mitch joined our firm he has been a valuable member of our team. We will miss Mitch. We respect his decision and wish him all the best for his future endeavors in Wichita.
Bath & Edmonds appealed DUI convictions from Mission Hills and Prairie Village Municipal Court. After engaging in pretrial litigation both municipalities dismissed the DUI charges. The Mission Hills case is dismissed in its entirety and the Prairie Village case results in a plea to a lane violation.

Tom Bath argued that our client was defending himself when the client struck the complaining witness. Bath and Edmonds filed a motion to dismiss pursuant to the immunity (Stand Your Ground) statutes. The Court agreed and all charges were dismissed.
