Mark Hartman has joined Bath & Edmonds as an attorney. Mark will draw upon significant experience as a public defender to defend firm clients against misdemeanor and felony criminal charges.
Mark most recently served as the chief public defender in for the State Board of Indigent Defense Services’ Western Region. As chief, Mark’s work focused on defending allegations of narcotics trafficking and violent crime.
Prior to that role, Mark served as an assistant public defender in the Sedgwick County Public Defender’s Office in Wichita. There, he conducted 15 jury trials on charges ranging from allegations of felony DUI to homicide.
He received his bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University in 2011 and his juris doctorate from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2017.
